MPEEC Training

MPEEC hosts quarterly training on medical aspects of child maltreatment for a multi-disciplinary audience that includes child welfare, law enforcement, and the legal and medical communities. There are two lecture series: one dedicated to serious harms and the second to neglect. The evidence-based curriculum is developed by child abuse pediatricians.

How to Report Suspected Child Abuse in Illinois

If you suspect that a child has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed by abuse or neglect, call the Illinois DCFS 24-hour Child Abuse Hotline at 800-25-ABUSE (800-252-2873).

For non-life-threatening and non-emergency incidents regarding abuse or neglect of a child, you may submit a report online.
